Pakistan Men’s hockey matches in the Olympics this year have been announced as follows:-
July 30th: v Spain
Aug 1: v Argentina
Aug 3: v Britain
Aug 5: v South Africa
Aug 7: v Australia.
Pakistan last won the Hockey World Cup in 1994 at Sydney & have been 4 times champions of the event. Pakistan were last Olympic Gold Medalists in 1984. The team will be training at Cannock Hockey Club in Staffordshire ahead of the event. Star player Sohail Abbas will be leading the team. Pakistan qualified for the event by winning the Asian Games in November 2010 which were held in China.
