ODI cricket's equivalent of the Commonwealth Games will return under the new ICC proposals with the Test Championship running out for a diamond duck! The Test Championship is being scrapped without even happening. Many doubted the concept and the concept had great trouble in trying to establish a convenient format and also because of the uncertainty for broadcasters about which teams were going to be involved, making it difficult in appealing to broadcasters.
